Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Font Art app for iPhone (listed on the App Store as “Font Art for Reels”) and its keyboard, published by San Thu Gao (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using Font Art you agree to them and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
Using Font Art
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use Font Art on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, or use it to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.
Your designs
You own the text and designs you create, and you may use them for personal or commercial purposes, such as social media posts. You are responsible for what you create and share. The fonts in Font Art are published under open licenses (SIL Open Font License 1.1 or Apache License 2.0), which allow them to be used in images you make; their licenses are listed in the app under Settings → Font licenses.
Font Art Pro subscriptions
- Font Art Pro unlocks premium fonts, premium text styles in the app and keyboard, all effects and watermark-free exports. It is offered as an auto-renewing weekly or yearly subscription. The current price is shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- If a free trial is offered, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before then. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel it.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; we cannot issue them directly.
- Purchases made in earlier versions of the app, including lifetime purchases, remain valid. Use “Restore Purchases” to unlock them on a new device.
Changes and availability
We may update, change or discontinue features of the app. If we discontinue features you have paid for during an active subscription period, you can request a refund through Apple.
Disclaimer
Font Art is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
